Target Audience: Precinct Chairs, Precinct Coordinators and Appointed Field Organizers
If you are an elected or appointed Precinct Chair, you should already have your account created in our VAN system. The makers of VAN use the ActionID system to authenticate your account. If you already have an ActionID login through a campaign or other enity your Bexar County VAN account, may already be linked to it.
At the time your Bexar County VAN account was created you would have received an e-mail from no-reply@ngpvan.com. If you do not find this message in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
If you did not receive this email, or more than 48 hours has passed since receiving it please submit a VAN access request here: https://apps.bexardemocrat.org/van-access
You should click on "Accept Invitation". You will be prompted to set a password for your ActionID account and enable 2-factor authentication. 2-factor authentication adds extra security to your account and is required by VAN.
You will log on to texasvan.com or votebuilder.com using this email and password as your login.
If you already have an ActionID account, you can click Log in at the top of the page. Your Account should be linked.
After login you may receive a txt message to the phone number supplied above with a 6 digit one-time pin that you will need to provide for 2-factor authentication.
If you have multiple accounts linked to the ActionID you will see a splash page asking you to select which Account Name you are logging in as. Choose the account signified with (Bexar Co) at the end and click "Next".
